BC RACING COILOVERS BR SERIES - BMW 1 SERIES F20 M140I (14-16) (5-BOLT TOP MOUNT)

The BC Racing BR Series offers an affordable entry into coilover suspension without compromising performance, comfort, build quality, or handling. Each kit is developed through extensive vehicle-specific testing to deliver a well-balanced and cost-effective upgrade for both road and occasional track use.

BR Series coilovers use a large 46mm piston inside a 53mm damper body to maximise oil capacity. As dampers operate, oil temperature rises and viscosity changes, which can affect consistency. BC Racing use premium damper oil and increase the body volume to reduce peak temperatures, ensuring stable performance under sustained hard use.

Spring Rate Options

BC Racing offer a range of spring rates to suit different driving styles and setups. For most applications, the Recommended spring rate is BC’s own tested specification and is ideal for fast-road use with the occasional track day, providing the best balance of comfort and control.

Stiffer spring rates are available for more track-focused builds, cars with wider tyres, additional chassis upgrades, or heavier wheel and tyre setups. Softer spring rates can be chosen when comfort is the main priority.
