Vehicle and ECU compatibility varies between models and production years. Please select the correct engine/licence option for your vehicle when ordering.

🔓 IMPORTANT – ECU UNLOCK REQUIREMENTS

An MG Flasher licence does not automatically unlock a locked ECU.

Before OBD flashing can take place, the vehicle's engine ECU must already support OBD programming or have the appropriate ECU unlock carried out (Post 2021 ECU's are locked) - But we can unlock this out in-house

Depending on the ECU hardware version, software version and vehicle production date, an additional ECU unlocking procedure may therefore be required before MG Flasher can be used for tuning.

For later BMW G-Series vehicles in particular, we recommend confirming ECU compatibility and unlock requirements before purchasing.

📡 CONNECTION REQUIREMENTS

A compatible ENET Wi-Fi adapter or ENET cable is required to connect the MG Flasher application to supported vehicles.

The ENET adapter or WiFi adapter is not included with the Ultimate Licence unless specifically selected or stated within the product options.
